I got up super early today, and did a LOT of stuff. Here's a dorky list:
*Titled, dated, scanned, edited, drafted listings for a bunch of ACEOs
*decluttered my emails
*TAXES, including a lot of receipt sorting
*Post Office trip
*vacuumed the house, took out trash, cleaned entire bathroom
*put on a face mask and had a nice soak in the tub
*spilled a full bag of cheese doodles all over myself, the armchair, and the floor, and decided to eat them off of myself enough so that I could stand up
*re-vacuumed the living room, rewashed my face, changed my shirt
*sent out some emails and some invoices, put a few things up for auction on eBay
*printed out a big batch of new limited edition ACEOs
*wrote this list as a lame excuse for a blog post
*Now, I am going to go embellish those limited edition ACEOs while I watch cartoons, and possibly do a bit of sketching...but oh man, I am TIRED...

An Overdue Hello + Doll Project News
Well, again I have let my blog fall by the wayside...
Seeing as I am mostly caught up with things after the holidays, I will be opening commissions back up! For those of you who are already on the waitlist, I've begun sketching! For anyone interested in a custom work, please feel free to check out my commission page HERE!
On top of the usual ACEOs I've been making, I've also been working on repainting some dolls..though it is going very slowly! I did manage to complete one, a fox girl, but there are a few things about her that need to be fixed, so I am hesitant to post any pictures (but I will anyway). For one thing, I rerooted her hair, and I gave her too much! So, her head is always pulled back at a strange angle that looks quite uncomfortable.
oww, my neck!
For another thing, when I went to reattach her head to her body, the sealant I used on her face CRACKED and now she has little spiderwebs on her face :(

Also, she does not have a name yet, so I can't properly show her off until I address all these issues! But, her dress and shoes are super foxy! This is only my third repainted doll ever, and I am still very much learning tricks and such, but it is so much fun! I love that I can draw/paint, play with fibers, get some sewing in, maybe some sculpting...and in the end I have a cohesive work of art! Even though they take forever, and there is a whole bunch of trial and error involved, I truly love it! I'm also working on a sweet little clown doll, but she is in such early stages that photos would just frighten people!
I really *am* going to try a lot harder to update this blog regularly (trying for once a week, lol) this year. Even if I don't have anything finished, or anything truly exciting to share, I am pretty good at rambling about nothing, so I have no excuse other than laziness! (and that's just so lame)
ok, I'm off to watch some South Park before bed :D :D

Sleeping Dragons, Orange Dragons, Feathered Dragons....an art post
Oh, it's art day! :D I have a handful this round, so let's get this started...
The latest illustration is rather whimsical; a doodle turned full blown illustration. Sleeping dragons under smokey dreams, turning to clouds, growing strange plants...
"Zees, Keys, and Bees" is an original mixed media illustration- inks, pencils, and acrylic paint on bristol. It measures 8.5" x 11", signed and titled on the back. Fox 1- an Art Post (+ updates)
Sooo, helloooo...I does have the arts hey. They is here today! (Sorry, I've just totally given up on being fit for society).
Yes, new art and some updates and stuff. I am honestly not sure who even reads these, but what tha hay at least I'll write it down for myself...
Firstly, a new fox painting! I have named him "Fox 1" (so clever, heh)...as he is the first in a series.
"Fox 1" Original Cartoon Painting
"Fox 1" is an original acrylic painting on a 5" x 7" canvas panel. Initialed on the front; full title, date, signature on the back, wire hanger on the back as well, or you may frame it as you wish, if you choose to adopt him! In addition to the new art, I have a new SHOP! I've opened an Amazon Handmade shop (check it out-- amazon.com/handmade/zombietoes), where I will be listing original art a few times a month, plus exclusive shop items! "Fox 1" is currently listed there (at this link ), along with a few other things. More to come after the holidays...(I am a tad overworked).
So, that is new art and some news. Some other things worth mentioning...uhhhh...crap, I totally had more important stuff to write about.
Oh! eBay update-I will be raising the starting bids on the ACEO prints come January- I currently list them at $.99 (they are HERE ), however blah blah business stuff and something about shipping costs= in January they go up to $2 (which they originally were) but probable free shipping.
hrrmmm, I am considering starting a monthly subscription for the ACEO prints, but I have to do some plotting and finagling before that can happen. Also aiming for sometime in January for that possibility.

Oh Deer! Art Post
Hello! I have an art to share!
May's illustration is titled "Oh Deer!" I am quite pleased with this piece, if for no other reason than it makes me giggle. Here are a few work in progress pictures for ya...

"Oh Deer" came from one of those doodles I draw when I don't know I am doodling. Usually those never make it past the scraps of paper I draw them on, but this one impressed me enough to "put it on fancy art paper". It measures 8.5" x 11", and is created in Prisamcolor and Sakura micron pens. Also, a few washes of strong black tea to give it that extra caffeine edge. (Kidding, I just wanted a nice tan base, the white paper was too overwhelming for a forest piece).
So, this illustration is currently up for auction HERE on eBay (or click the finished photo below):
