As disgusting as I find The Jersey Shore to be, I will admit I have watched more than my fair share of it, and have been thoroughly amused. Why, you ask? I wish I had an answer for you. But do not worry, I no longer have cable TV, and no time for watching shows. ;)
Let me tell you about T Shirts.
I have them. They are awesome and special, they are a small limited edition run (for now) and you want one. No, you NEED one. This round, I have gone with my previously unreleased cartoon art "Merry Go Hound". I have assorted sizes, styles, and colors, though most of them are geared towards the ladyfolk (sorry, men, I'm working on some for you!)

In addition, I have a limited edition run of "Merry Go Hound" screen printed in red ink on yellow cardstock available. There are only 7 of them, they are 8" x 10", signed, numbered, titled, etc...AND...because I LOVE you all so MUCH, I've marked them at a lower price ($12 as opposed to $16) than my usual 8" x 10" print price. I had a lot of help and inspiration for these shirts, and when you purchase one, some of the money from that goes directly to the person who helped me, and we both thank you profusely. Plus, that gives me more wiggle room to make more, different, and super fabulous shirts! Also, I'm getting really sick of working for THE MAN, so any time you want to buy something, that gets me a little bit closer to buying a giant mansion to house all my friends. This week I have decided to try something a bit different...I am going to post one comic a day! I will tell you that it's a bit of a cop-out, though, as it won't really start to make sense or be very funny until a few days in. Just fair warning. One joke spread over seven days. It's essentially a stylized look at my work week. The entire 'strip' is titled "I am Jack's all work and no play"...Here is Em's Monday:

Getting some new 8" x 10" prints and other stuff listed in my zombietoes etsy shop!
Oh My GOSH YOU GUYS!! I am a total slacker. I have had this post in my head for over a week now, and am just now getting around to typing it up. I am not sure what has happened to me in the past few months, but it is becoming apparent that I am having issues with blog posting. I used to be so good about it, (talking here about my fantasy art blog- Darkling Treasures, back in the day). Perhaps it is the call of physical pen and paper that is louder than my keyboard now (this is not really a bad thing).
So, anyway, I have a lot of crap to share. New art! New character overviews! New prints! And A public appearance too! Ahhh! Let me start with the art....
For fans of my FB page, this is not a new piece to you. But for those of you who are BUMS, you are seeing "Hal" for the first time! He is a hand pulled screen print that I made all on my own from one of my illustrations. I love him. LOVE! I've managed to get a batch of limited edition prints of Hal together (6 each of green and brown). You can get all the info and even get yourself a print at the link below the picture:

NOW...Public Appearance announcement time! Yeah, so, if you know me at all, you KNOW I never get out in public. To be honest, it is extremely overwhelming for me. I know, I probably just need to do it more often and get used to it. But I really get freaked out. So sue me. However, I will have a table at the Paint & Pixel Festival in Northampton, MA this October!! A WHOLE TABLE!! And, I am bringing one of the characters from my strip with me (well, four, actually, if you count me, G, and B, but I don't). I will be bringing some originals, Ralphies, prints in assorted sizes, and other random things...Check out the awesome at one or all of their links:
